Layered Leaves, Petals, & Summer Night Conversations

Inspired by layers of leaves and translucent petals falling into uplifting and spacious compositions. Painted over the course of the summer and finished as summer ends, it brought to mind shifting seasons anchored by relationships and conversations we hold dear. Time spent with family and summer nights spent with friends, I explored themes of layering both in the painting process and in the richness of layered conversation.
